Allan Knapp
ElderMy Occupation: Self-employed Data Systems Analyst. My current work has been for the State Department of Education, helping with the collection and reporting of Special Education data.
Background at URC: I came to Michigan State University as an undergrad, met former pastor Tom Stark, met the Lord, met my wife, and stayed. We have worked at various times in URC as church secretary (Diane), bookkeeper (before computers), Children’s Church coordinators, Youth Group leaders, Growth Group Leaders, Deacon and Elder (Allan).
About Me / My Family:
My wife Diane teaches fifth grade in Lansing schools. Our daughter Linnea is the Archives Librarian at St Francis University in Joliet, IL. Our son Jesse does data projects for me in Lansing. Diane and I have siblings in Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, and Missouri. We enjoy an annual spring break week in Holmes Beach, Florida where the Gulf of Mexico is two blocks West, the schoolyard for Frisbee is two blocks North, and the doughnut store is two blocks South.
