Qiang (Chung) Xue
ElderMy Occupation: University Assistant Budget Officer, MSU
About My Family: I was born and raised in P. R. China. After receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering from Xidian University and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from University of Science & Technology of China, I came to the U.S.A. to continue my Ph.D. study in Computer Science at Michigan State University, and graduated in 2005.
I met my lovely wife, Jie (Jackie) Zhuang through SICF. We were married in December 2008 at URC and welcomed our first child, Angele Siyu Xue, in December 2009. We also have two cats and a dozen fish. We love to take walks after dinner, but my favorite exercise is walking backwards on treadmill.
My Background at URC: I started attending URC in 2002. As a young Christian, I was nurtured by people in URC, and experienced significant spiritual growth. From 2006 through 2008, I was a coordinator for Spartan International Christian Fellowship (SICF). Since 2007, my wife and I have been leading a Chinese Evangelistic Bible study at URC.
