Jeff McAlvey
ElderMy Occupation: I am a multi-client lobbyist. My firm McAlvey, Merchant and Associates work on behalf of about 25 different clients such as Hurley Hospital in Flint, AT&T, and the Salvation Army. In addition, Carole and I own, with another couple, a Biggby Coffee shop.
My Background at URC: I came to faith in Christ when I was a MSU student through the ministry of URC and specifically through the mentoring of URC founding pastor, Tom Stark. That was in 1977. Except for the 5 years we lived in Midland, Michigan, we have been active members of URC. For the last 13 years Carole and I have co-led a Sunday School class for engaged and young married couples.
About Me / My Family: Carole and I live in Lansing, we have 4 children and 5 grandchildren (the sixth is on the way).
