A great improvement on our trip down, Gary and Marcia headed to FL about 11am. Hope they are safely in a motel too. We reiminensced a bit today at supper about a good memory from the week. So we will be prepared to share with you at our prayer partners/team potluck. We’ll let you know that date as we straighten out a few things. Ken was planning on working today. The Gulfport forecast for next week is slowly warming to 75, he’s excited about that possibility. THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR PRAYERS! We really felt lifted up and sustained. We hope to be in East Lansing about 2:30 tomorrow. Vera

There was no hurry to rush to the job site so breakfast was a bit more relaxed. One of today’s goals was to eat all the “left-overs”. Carol left for school only to find out that school had been canceled due to the inclement weather. Don’ tell the children up north they will all want to move down here. Marcia and Vera took care of the kitchen and shopped for a few food items. The rest of the crew when over to Sydney’s CDC office, we sorted and organized the building supplies in the warehouse. Everyone including Sydney, Morgan, and Sean returned to church for a lunch of delicious “left-overs”. The weather was clearing and we were making plans to work on the building site. Vera, Marcia, and Carol stayed at church to cook and clean. The rest of the crew pick up supplies and began working on the securing the floor joist and nailing down the ¾” flooring. It was cloudy and 39 degrees, but we made good progress. There is still plenty of building for Ken and Morgan to finish over the 2 to 3 weeks.

Supper was salad, spaghetti, green beans, French bread and ice cream. Guest included Felix (pastor of Grace church) and Jocelyn Williams and Morgan. Actually Morgan and Sydney showed up just as we began eating, they were bearing a signed Certificate of appreciation.

Devotions included piano playing by Felix and a short hymn sang in French by Jocelyn. Lucy lead the singing and Carol lead the mediation. At the conclusion of devotion we presented Morgan with an honorary CRWRC “Green Shirt”
