Christianity Explored

Christianity Explored

INTERESTED IN KNOWING MORE ABOUT WHAT JESUS ACTUALLY SAID AND DID? THEN THIS MAY BE JUST WHAT YOU’RE LOOKING FOR!

Christianity Explored is an informal 10-week course, which looks at the life of Jesus in a clear and friendly way for people who would like to investigate what Christianity means for today.  We will look at the life and death of Jesus as told in the Book of Mark and explore its relationship to our lives today.

Whether you just want to know what Jesus really said or did or you would like a clearer understanding of what you already know about Jesus, this course is for you.

Our evening will start at 6:30pm with a light buffet dinner including time to chat. After a short study in the Book of Mark, we will watch a brief (25-min) video presentation by Rico Tice of All Souls Church in London, England.  Our time together will end with an opportunity to talk and ask any questions.  The evening will conclude promptly at 8:30pm.

Q:  Can I just turn up at the first meeting without a “RSVP”?
A:  Of course you can and you will be made very welcome.  However, it does help us to prepare the buffet and groups if we have an idea how many are coming.  If you are able, please let us know that you are coming.

Q:  Can I bring a friend?
A:  Of course you can.

Q:  If I come the first week and decide it is not for me will people hassle me to come back?
A:  Not at all.  You are free to come and go as you please.

Q:  Will I be expected to read aloud, pray or sing?
A:  Not at all.  We won’t ask you to do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable.  You can ask any question you want or just feel free to sit, listen and enjoy the company.

Q: Where can I lean more about Christianity Explored and Rico Tice?
A:  Check out the Christianity Explored web site at: www.christianityexplored.org/
