Sunday Classes

Please note, we will have only one service at 10 am beginning June 2, 2013. We will provide childcare for children through age 4. Until June 2, 2013 and again this fall, we will resume the regular schedule below.

9 am:

Infants through age 3 – Rooms 106-8 in the West Wing will be for these littlest ones. Look for the check in desk just before the rooms.

Ages 4 through 8 – Bible Story Hour: Children will be led out by the banner, parents please pick up your kids between services at the new Sunday school check in desk just outside of Room 102 in the West Wing. We will have a class in Room 105 for ages 4&5 and a class in Room 104 for ages 6 through 8.

Kids older than age 8 – I strongly encourage you to take this as an opportunity to bring your kids into the service and train them about how to worship with the congregation. My hope is (and has always been) that folks will bring their kids into the early service and stay for kids and adult Sunday school at the later service.

11 am:

Infants through age 3 – Rooms 106-8 in the West Wing. Check in desk just before rooms.

Ages 4 through 5th grade – Sunday School:The check in process will be much more like last school year; please visit the Sunday school check in desk outside of Room 102 before your kids make their way to their classes. We will not all start and end in one place like we did last semester. The desk will be able to show you where to go, but if you’re curious now:

  • Pre K (4s & 5s) will meet in Room 105.
  • Kindergarten and 1st Grade will meet in Room 104, check in at West Wing
  • 2nd and 3rd Grades will meet in Room 102, check in at West Wing
  • 4th and 5th Grades will meet in Room 100 (also known as the Parent Lounge, which is at the bottom of the stairs by the West Wing entry. 4th and 5th Grade parents, please check your kids in and out at the check in desk even though they aren’t “behind” the desk!)

Youth Classes (grades 6-12) – Sunday School: Children do not need to check in and will be released at the end of the service. 6th through 8th Grades will meet in Room 31 and 9th through 12th Grades will meet in Room B.
