This year, the Christmas Offering will go towards the Malawi Reformation Network and The Lansing City Rescue Mission.
Malawi Reformation Network:
MRN is grateful for the continued support from URC. Confex and Mwai are meeting weekly on Sundays to study God’s word and fellowship with a few dozen people in Blantyre. MRN recently hired three interns who study with Confex, do door to door evangelism, and reach out to students at the various colleges in town. URC’s financial gifts will be used to support the internship program and develop reformed libraries for the pastors and interns to better equip them for the ministry. The City Rescue Mission of Lansing:
CRML was founded in 1911. It is the largest shelter in Michigan’s capital area and provides shelter to 140 women, children, and men every night and serves about 100,000 meals every year. City Rescue Mission is a Christian ministry which exists for the sole purpose of meeting physical and spiritual needs in our community. To learn more about the CRML and its current project called “The Outreach,” visit www.bearescuer.org.
We hope you will prayerfully consider giving to the Christmas offering to support these ministries. Please mark your envelopes as “Christmas Offering” and it will get to the right place.
