Growing up, Eric attended church but never had a saving knowledge of Jesus. Upon his arrival to Michigan State in the fall of 2021, however, Eric was swept up by Cru, getting plugged into Bible studies and weekly meetings. It was around this time that he began attending URC, too. He attests that God used this transition to unveil the light of the Gospel to him. Since then, he has steadily seen more and more of God’s love for him, growing as a disciple of Jesus.
Over the past year, he has been discerning next steps in ministry, desiring to use his gifts for the benefit of the Kingdom. As a result, he has been faithfully considering pastoral ministry, and is excited to see how he will grow in the next year.
During his term, he will be marrying his lovely fiancée, Nicole. Outside of work he enjoys running, spending time with his cat, reading and listening to sermons, and savoring a bold cup of coffee.
