Isaiah is very thankful to have been raised to know the Lord from his birth and upbringing in the Lansing area. He was originally connected to URC through youth group in high school. After graduating, God used the Biblical Counseling ministry of Pat at URC to leave a lasting impact on his relationship with his Creator.
His eventual career as a firefighter was disrupted (in the best way) by taking one of Pat’s counseling classes. Isaiah felt that being a counseling intern would be faithful to what the Lord was nurturing in him. Fast forward a few years, and he has the privilege of being a biblical counseling resident at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, learning from Pat and the staff of URC, and trying to facilitate “intentionally helpful conversations” with the Wonderful Counselor.
Isaiah enjoys playing sports, a board game called The Quacks of Quidlenberg, watching the NFL, playing drums with Jon Anderson & Co, and being with his friends & family.
