My Occupation: After finishing grad school with a degree in library and information science, I moved to the Chicago area where I worked as the Archives Librarian at a small university and then as a part of the records and information management team at a large university in downtown Chicago. I am currently the Records Information Specialist at Lansing Community College where I do both records management and archives work.
Background at URC: My parents met at MSU and started attending URC way back when it was meeting in the Alumni Chapel which means I grew up attending URC. When I moved back to Lansing after living in Chicagoland for almost 10 years, I started attending URC again and became a member not too long after.
About Me / My Family: After years of commuting into Chicago, I wanted to live as close to work as I could so I now live in downtown Lansing, not that far from the LCC campus. My parents recently moved into the same neighborhood in Okemos where my brother and sister-in-law live so I’m often at one of their houses, hanging out with them and my four, niblings. I enjoy reading, doing craft/sewing projects, going to concerts and watching k-dramas. I’m also blessed to be serving on the Board of the Shared Pregnancy Women’s Center in Lansing.
