To promote equipping the saints for the work of ministry (Eph. 4:12) URC is offering its Biblical and Theological Foundations course this Fall (formerly the Leadership Training Course). If you are interested in growing in your knowledge of Scripture and theology, and your ability to minister the Word to those around you, this class is for you. The class is a prerequisite for those interested in serving URC as an elder or deacon one day, but it is open to all members of the church — both men and women — with a heart to grow in leadership in the church. The class meets 6:30-7:45am Thursday mornings for 10 weeks beginning September 12. If you would like to participate in this class, please fill out the form below. If you have any questions, please email Chip Cogan.
URC women are invited to join us every other Wednesday from 9:30-11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall, beginning September 18. This semester we will be reading “Holiness”, J. C. Ryle’s classic guide for Christians, wherein he outlines the principles of sin, sanctification, spiritual growth and the importance of Christ. Join us for book discussion, testimony panels, guest speakers, wonderful fellowship and great food! Childcare and homeschool classes offered. Registration is open now through August 25 here.

Living out your faith and sharing it with those around you are challenges we all face. SCF would like to invite everyone to come as we seek to think through together how we can better shine forth as lights in the world (Philippians 2:15b). Come to hear from others at URC about how they are seeking to live outward in their daily lives and join in discussing what this might look like for each of us. Thursday nights at 7:30 pm, June 6-August 1 in the Chapel.
A baptism service will be held Sunday, July 7. If you would like to have your child baptized, please fill out the form found here.
