Our international ministries are focused on reaching the thousands of international students and scholars at Michigan State University. We host international Bible studies, English conversation classes, fellowship and discipleship groups, and numerous social gatherings—all to make Jesus known among the nations here in East Lansing.
And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel their way toward him and find him.” - Acts 17:26-27
Sunday Meeting
On Sunday mornings at 9:15 am, our international fellowship meets for a Bible discussion and provides opportunities for building friendships with people from our church.
English Discussion Groups
Our English class is an informal way to improve your conversational English while making friends with American tutors and other international students and scholars. We meet on Wednesday evenings on the MSU campus.
Christianity Explored
This class is a great opportunity to explore the Bible and learn about Jesus in a friendly setting. Classes meet at URC once a week for ten weeks on Thursday nights (during fall & spring semesters) and include a free dinner beginning at 6:30 pm. After dinner (around 7:30) we begin our small group discussions from the Bible. No Bible knowledge or church experience is required.
