On Sunday we gather together to meet with and worship God, hear from His word, and encourage one another. This is done through singing, prayer, and preaching from the Bible.
At University Reformed Church you will find a blended style of worship with an emphasis toward the hymns of old while also looking for the quality songs of today. We seek to sing God-glorifying, soul-stirring, biblically-based lyrics, coupled with fitting melodies. The singing is led by a small team of people but the emphasis is on the singing of the congregation.
On Sunday morning there is a nursery available during both the 9:15 and 11:00 morning services for ages 0-3 with a Bible Story class for children ages 4-5 during the 9:15 service. At 11:00 there are Sunday school classes offered for children through 12th grade.
In addition to Sunday morning, there is a Wednesday evening gathering for youth in 6th-12th grades.
You should feel welcome and comfortable whether you come dressed up or more casual. On most Sundays you will see jeans and t-shirts as well as coats and ties.
The PCA is the denomination with which University Reformed Church is affiliated. More information can be found at www.pcanet.org
We would love to have you join us for worship on a Sunday morning and ask your questions in person. If you come, there is an information table in the lobby and the people there would be glad to help you get your questions answered.
